CFC finishes exciting Spring, 2013 Festival season!

CFC's Spring, 2013 Festival was a little different:  The Beatles, choral style!  From a capella rock to madrigal style, CFC presented a whole new take on Beatles music.

In addition to our main concert, which was held at UC-Clermont College's Krueger Auditorium, the CFC was honored to open for the May Festival; sing at Summerfair; entertain at Milford's Frontier Days; and be a featured performer at Miami Township's Summer Concert series.

If you missed this fun and interesting concert, don't despair – we will present Beatles music once more on
September 28 at Milford's Promont House event, An Art Affaire.

Past Concert Highlights:

"Faith, Hope & Love"

In January, 2013, CFC explored the themes of faith, hope and love through a variety of musical styles.  We included pieces such as the classical Jubilate Deo by Benjamin Britten; Sister Act II's Joyful, Joyful; and the irreverant but always fun Always Look on the Bright Side of Life from Monty Python.

"United We Sing:  Music by American Composers"

After a several year hiatus, CFC returned to the chorale scene with a concert that celebrated American talent through the centuries.  From Parker's Colonial era piece "Hark I Hear the Harps Eternal," to Erb's well-known and loved folk song "Shenandoah," to Bernstein's favorite from West Side Story, "Somewhere," we explored the centuries and styles that have shaped American music.

"Carols From Around The World" & "Singing With Santa"

For our Winter 2007 Festival concert, CFC presented our first fundraiser, a unique event that kicked off the holiday season!

"Singing With Santa" offered singing, crafts, musical demonstrations, refreshments, and a magic show with Milford's Own Jason Jacobs, all announced by Clermont County's Town Crier, Bill Knepp!

The "Carols From Around The World" concert showcased carols from 9 different countries sung by the CFC Chorale and the CFC Children's Chorus.

The event was sponsored by Park National Bank and Kroger; Jason Jacobs and Bill Knepp generously donated their time and talent, along with many wonderful volunteers.
